This tour will cover the North East of Ireland home of the beautiful Mourne Mountains,
which have been immortalised by Don McLean, we then move on to the seaside town of Newcastle and then follow the Coast road
to the quaint fishing village of Kilkeel, we then move back into the mountains to visit the Silent Valley Reservoir then visit
Rostrevor and Newry City. At Newry we then Cross the border into the Republic of Ireland and enter the historic Cooley Mountains
and stay a night in the Coastal town of Omeath. After a traditional full Irish Breakfast we travel North to the Antrim
Coast to visit the World famous Giants Causeway and those of an adventurous disposition can walk across the Carrick a Reed
Rope Bridge. We then travel through the Glens of Antrim and spend a night in Cushendall which is a mere ten miles North of
Larne; the ferry port to Scotland. In August we will visit the Warrenpoint blues festival which in the past has been headlined
by Van Morrisson.
